Once you are selected for one of the posts of ESIC UDC, you will receive a promotion based on seniority. This means, as you serve for more years, you will be receiving a promotion. An officer who has been in any department for continuous 3 years becomes eligible for the promotion. Now, once the person has been in the Assistant position for 3 years, he/she will receive an increment of Rs.4,600 in the grade pay. Promotion in UDC offers the following posts:
Once a candidate is selected, he/she will need to serve as a probationary officer for a duration of 2 years. After that, the candidate becomes eligible to get promoted. For officers, once they have been in any department for 3 years, they will be considered eligible to be promoted to the post of Assistant.
